BIO
-
I was
born in 1956 while my father was finishing his senior year
of seminary.
-
Yes, I
grew up in a pastor's home, with all the benefits and
challenges. I've watched weddings since I've been a
toddler and officiated at them for over 25 years. I
have been a part of the celebrations of weddings and the
sorrow of funerals; learning human dynamics and the
importance of caring for people.

I am an
ordained minister and received my Master's of Divinity from
Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary in Mequon, Wisconsin, and served
as pastor in both Lutheran and non-denominational churches.

I served as
pastor of four congregations in Wisconsin, Florida, and
Michigan seeking to apply truth from the Bible in
contemporary and relevant ways. I've taught many series on
Marriage, Family, and Parenting and other practical issues.

I have been
the keynote speaker at numerous marriage retreats and have
taught the DiSC Relational Personality Profile to
couples, work groups, teenagers, and families for over fifteen years.

My wife,
Debbie and I celebrated 28 years of marriage this year.
She is my best friend and confidant. Yes, she is my
companion for the wedding ceremonies which I officiate
(Check out the Testimony
page, you'll see why).
We are happily married with a two adult daughters, a son, and a son-in-law. I know first hand, from my own
mistakes, the challenges of marriage and the commitment to
persevere through difficult times.
