My take away from the workshop is not to let my strengths fizzle. I always knew what my strengths were but my issue was maintaining them. When people around you do not embrace your strengths its hard to find a way to keep them up. The workshop made me realize that I need to be around positive people that I can use my strengths with. Also, I put them up on my desk so I would not forget what my top 5 strengths are. I have realized that not everyone has the strengths that I do, and now having the domains for every employee will help me learn how to relate to them easier as well. Working in Human Resources, it is so important to learn what your strengths are with all of the internal employees so you may feed off of each other and utilize everyone’s excellent skills!
